Learn simple recipes for a homemade takeaway that’s just as tasty but cheaper and healthier. A typical menu includes:
sag aloo – a homemade version of the takeaway classic red lentil and spinach dal – tasty side dish and great way to get to grips with cooking lentils flatbreads – it’s easier than you think to make raita dip – give your curry the authentic touch
Community Kitchen are running a Batch Cooking (with meat) class on Thursday 23 May, 10:00am - 1:00pm
This class will celebrate the benefits of batch cooking – to reduce meal costs, learn to cook wholesome healthy meals, spend just a few hours cooking for the whole week, minimise food waste and cut down the amount of packaging and plastic waste produced.
A typical lesson will include:
