In October the Secretary of State announced that the DWP would introduce Freephone numbers to replace its existing customer 0345 numbers. The work to introduce the new numbers began with Universal Credit.
The changes to Universal Credit telephone numbers has now been completed and the new numbers went live on the 29th November for the following services:
