New Possibilities Programme
In one easy step, apply for Seaside Homes funding for an event, course, day-out, hobby, or something else you think will boost your wellbeing!
From Monday 6 May to Monday 10 June 2024, Fabrica are running a 6 week Men Who Make Sculpture Course for adult men experiencing mental health challenges.
As the course progresses, participants will use clay, plaster, paper and other materials to form sculptures that incorporate participants' interests in the subject matter. No experience necessary, just a willingness to have a go.
Sessions are free but places are very limited, and they ask that participants attend all 6 sessions in this series.

Low-cost activities to help stay strong, stay steady and stay independent this April
Did you know that from the age of 30 our muscle strength and balance start to decrease, and this increases our risk of having a life-changing fall? In fact, one in 3 people over 65 will have a life-changing fall this year.
The good news is that you can reduce this risk with just 10 to 20 minutes of strength and balance activity at least twice a week.
Stay Strong, Stay Steady, Stay Independent is a programme of local events running from Wednesday 17 to Tuesday 30 April to raise awareness of the importance of strength and balance exercises to help people stay independent and age well.
