Every year we publish four editions of Seaside News, our resident newsletter, filled with information, updates, insights, competitions, and crosswords! We want the newsletter to be resident-led and we’d love for you to get involved. Below are a few ways you can contribute to the next edition of the newsletter, and be in with a chance of winning prizes!
There’s a few ways to enter:

- You can complete the form at the end of this page and upload your file

Photography Competition
The theme for this edition is: WINTER WARMERS
Interpret this theme however you like and send in your best snap to be in with a chance of winning a £25 gift voucher! It could be a photo of someone bundled up in hat and scarf, a cup of hot chocolate, a warming fire – or something more unusual!

Recipe Competition
The theme for this edition’s recipe competition is: ROOT VEGETABLES
Let’s keep things seasonal with dishes featuring potato, carrot, turnips, parsnips, or any other root vegetables!
Please send in a step by step recipe and photos of the final dish to enter. The winning entry will get a £25 gift voucher!

Write an Article!
We want Seaside News to be written by Seaside residents, for Seaside residents. We’d love to hear what you have been thinking about recently. You can write an article about your current hobby, about an experience you’ve had, or your thoughts about a particular topic. It could be about how you spent your Christmas or New Years Eve. It can be long or short. It can be about being a Seaside resident, or about a completely different aspect of your life.

Tips for Residents
In our Autumn 2022 edition, one lovely resident shared how she used stick-on cladding to transform the look of her fridge and washing machine! Do you have a handy tip you’d like to share with Seaside residents? It could be about making household chores easier, decorating tips, or maybe you’ve found a great cheap lunch in Brighton & Hove and want to share.

Design, Edit and Proof
We’d love for you to be involved in the designing, editing, or proof reading of Seaside News! No experience necessary and we can provide you with training. Flex your creativity and gain great skills and experience! Email tenants@seaside-homes.org.uk to get involved.

Winning entries will be published in our online and print edition of Seaside News, so by entering the competition you are consenting to us publishing the photo and/or writing in Seaside News. Please let us know if you are happy for us to print your first name along with your winning entry.
