We are holding a Seaside Homes Tenant Panel Meeting on Tuesday 18th April at 13:00 – 15:00 at Friends Meeting House and all Seaside Homes tenants are invited! We hope to see you there!
The topic for this meeting is: Communal areas; cleaning, maintenance, and safety.
This topic was chosen by residents at the January Tenant Panel meeting. We have asked a representative from our Managing Agents, Brighton & Hove City Council, who are responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and safety of communal areas, to attend the meeting. You will have an opportunity to ask questions, and to join in the discussion.
We offered tenants shopping vouchers as a thank you for attending this first meeting and co-creating a tenant engagement plan with us. The residents who attended the January panel decided that we should continue to offer shopping vouchers as incentives for attending Panel meetings and so we are offering all residents who attend the full meeting (13:00 – 15:00) a £15 shopping voucher as a thank you for your contributions and feedback. We are also offering all tenants who attend Panel Meetings the opportunity to join TPAS Connect, the digital community for involved residents where you can discover resources, training opportunities, and networking. Upcoming training you could book on to includes “Effective Challenging & Questioning Skills”, “Introduction to Scrutiny”, and more. If there is a particular skill or topic you want training in, or you see training available somewhere else that you are interested in, give us a ring and we can see if we can get you booked on.

We are meeting in the “Lecture Room” and the address is Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton, BN1 1AF.
There are two designated Blue Badge parking bays in Ship Street which are about 50m from the entrance to the grounds. There are automated doors into the building; the Main Meeting room and the disabled toilet. All of the rooms on the ground floor are wheelchair accessible, including the Lecture Room. If you have any concerns about accessibility of the venue, please give us a ring.
